  2. NOTEBOOKS DUE:

Notebooks should contain the following assignments:

100 points total for notebook check in.

Poe:          Page 366 reflect #1 and rethink #2    (20 points)

Thoreau : Notes from Walden                             (10 points)                     

                  Quick write #1, p. 309                        (10 points)

Emerson: Quick writes 2 & 3, p. 295.                 (20 points)

Whitman                

Definitions: catalog, repetition, parallelism, and free verse in notebooks.

                rethink #3,  p. 314, relate  #3, p. 315, and quick write #2, p. 320.  (40 points)

Wednesday 2/25

  1. Last full class day to work on essays.
  2. Work in lab to finish essays/ peer edits/ self edits, etc.

Thursday 2/26

  1. Review ACT tests #30 - #40.
  2. Turn in pages 112-115 from grammar book.
  3. Begin pronouns, pp. 118-121  and Capitals, pp. 145-151.
  4. To lab to finish essays.
  5. TURN IN ESSAYS BEFORE LEAVING CLASS TODAY
  6. All work must be submitted in the correct order or it will not be graded. Follow the order listed on the cover sheet you were given.

Friday 2/27

  1. Unit 6 vocabulary due.
  2. Review game for Unit 6.
  3. Turn in Unit 6 pages.
  4. Quiz on Unit 6
