1.       13.4: Sentence Interrupters and Nonessential Elements, pp. 247-248.

2.       Evergreen Chapter 10: Compare Contrast practices 1, 2, 3. Practices 1, 3 and 4.

3.       SAT Reading: test 5, passage 4.

 

A.      Demonstrate and practice comma usage skills.

B.       Recognize the elements of compare contrast writing.

C.       Identify main ideas, details, and implied ideas when reading complex passages.

 

Wednesday 3/22

1.       Finish College Reading: Chapter 6 – Relationships PT. II.

2.       Turn in mastery and review exercises.

3.       Test on Relationships PT. II, chapter 6.

4.       Begin Chapter 7: Inferences (time permitting)

5.       Continue reading Outliers – quiz Friday.

1.       Fill in alternative terms for Ethos, Pathos, Logos

2.       Essay outline and plan sheet check in = 150 points.

3.        Begin typing essays in Word or Google Docs.

  1. Enter essays in Vantage, run My Editor and print grade sheet.

A.       Assemble and evaluate an analysis of an essay/article.

 

B.       Synthesize information for an analytical essay.

C.       Record and recall the instructions for essay submission in an online software program.
