Tuesday 2/28

School Improvement Day

  1. Continue Evergreen – Chapter 13: Persuasion – Practice 1, 2, 3, 4, p. 155.
  2. Continue chapters 3 and 4: “The Trouble with Geniuses.”
  3. Finish redo and review passage #4.

 

A.      Comprehend and implement different strategies for persuasive writing.

B.      Identify key ideas, details and support in a non-fiction reading selection.

Wednesday 3/1

  1. Finish redo and review passage #4, 5.  Turn in scantrons and pass out answer key. Keep all material in SAT folder for later review.
  2. Turn in Grammar Chapter 11 packet and exercises:

1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 13, A, B, C, D

  1. Open book test on Chapter 11.
  2. Begin grammar chapter 13: 13.1, pp. 241-242.
